Welcome to Emory University’s Division of Campus Life’s assessment web site.

Campus Life staff use assessment tools to evaluate and improve programs and services for Emory students. The assessment process is based on the same principles of rigorous intellectual inquiry that underlie research and learning at Emory. It clarifies how Campus Life programs provide opportunities for students to learn about leadership, service, and being responsible community members.

This assessment website features several sections:

  • About Us highlights the history of assessment at Emory along with information about the current assessment organizational structure.
  • The Calendar has current information about upcoming meetings, workshops, and project timelines relating to divisional assessment efforts.
  • Projects provides a synopsis of current and past assessments conducted by the 14 departments within the Division. Full reports for all of our assessment projects can be requested from the team chair, Dr. Carolyn Livingston.
  • Resources holds a glossary of key terms and assessment-related websites.
  • Templates and Tools is primarily for Campus Life staff engaged in assessment projects. Copies of forms and can be accessed in this section.
  • Training and Support holds our online education area: links to conferences, webinars, and readings as well as our own in-house presentations and materials.

If you have any questions about assessment, please contact Carolyn Livingston.
